Team Member James Lee-Barrett

James Lee-Barrett BSc(Hons)

Owner & Lead Physiotherapist

HCPC registration number: PH91700


James trained for 3 years at the University of Hertfordshire and undertook 1000 hours of hands-on Clinical Placement. James is qualified in the use of Acupuncture and the use of Osteopathic techniques, and is also a registered Kenisiotape Practitioner.

James works with a variety of clients including the young, the elderly and local sports clubs (football, badminton & running clubs), as well as Professional Athletes and Elite youngsters. 


James is a health professional accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council. James is also registered with the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.


James has experience in Outpatients, Neurological Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Intermediate Care, Surgical Respiratory and Medical Respiratory. 


In his spare time, James enjoys spending time with his young family, keeping fit and competing in Triathlon.

Team Member Mark Alderton

Mark Alderton BSc(Hons)

Associate Physiotherapist

HCPC registration number: PH72515


Mark qualified in 2005 from the University of London with an Physiotherapy honours degree. Mark currently works in private clinics in Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and at the Rushmere Physiotherapy Clinic. 

With a wealth of experience Mark enjoys treating all conditions. 


Mark is a qualified acupuncturist and has a special interest in manual therapy.


In his spare time, Mark enjoys running and strength training.

Team Member Ryan Vicencio

Ryan Vicencio BSc(Hons)

Associate Physiotherapist 

HCPC registration number: PH84240


Ryan qualified in 2005 in the Philippines and started working in the UK in 2007. His physiotherapy career started with neurological rehabilitation then moved to elderly community physiotherapy and now in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. 

Ryan is trained to practice Acupuncture, kinesiotaping, Return to work assessment, and Functional capacity assessment. He splits his working week as a Clinical Case Manager for a private independent clinical company and as a private physiotherapist in Rushmere physiotherapy clinic. His special interests are treating various sports-related injuries, persistent lower back pain, and Whiplash associated disorders.


In his spare time, Ryan enjoys his gym workouts, running, and spending time with his family.

Team Member Andrew Bannan

Andrew Bannan Msc(Hons)

Associate Physiotherapist

HCPC registration number: PH57534


Andrew Bannan qualified as a physiotherapist in 2000 and has gained a wealth of clinical experience most notably at multi sports events such as the Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth and European Olympic Games.

Andrew combines his clinical work with a lecturing role at The University of Essex. He has extensive experience working with rugby at Bury St Edmunds RUFC, Academy football at Ipswich Town FC and with runners, cyclists and triathletes as well as professional dancers and performers.


Andrew keeps fit mainly by running but also enjoys cycling and has completed several triathlons up to Olympic distance.

Team Member Kimberley Maddalena

Kimberley Maddalena Bsc(Hons)

Associate Physiotherapist

HCPC registration number: PH102974


Kimberley qualified from the University of Essex in 2013 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She has experience in many NHS areas including cardiac, respiratory, oncology and haematology, care of the elderly, stroke, trauma and orthopaedics, women’s health, musculoskeletal outpatients and cardiac rehabilitation. 


Kimberley also provides physiotherapy to the ITFC academy team and has completed the FA Intermediate First Aid for Sport Course.


Additional qualifications include a Diploma in Sports massage and Acupuncture.

Team Member Andrew Bannan

Abigail Dines Bsc(Hons)

Associate Physiotherapist

HCPC registration number: PH110097


Abi trained at Coventry University for 3 years and undertook 1000 hours of hands-on clinical placement. Prior to this, she completed a year of Sports Therapy undergraduate training. After completing her physiotherapy degree, Abi completed her junior and senior rotations in various areas of clinical practice before she became a stroke specialist physiotherapist. She continues to work in the acute stroke unit for the NHS.


Abi is a health professional accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professionals Council. Abi is also registered with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology.



Abi has experience in outpatients, community team concentrating on the prevention of admission and supporting discharges, orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, elderly care, respiratory, intermediate care and surgical physiotherapy.


In her spare time, Abi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her cavapoo, keeping fit and skiing.
