James Lee-Barrett is a self-employed Physiotherapist who works from home in a purpose built clinic.  James trained for 3 years at the University of Hertfordshire and undertook 1000 hours of hands-on Clinical Placement. James is qualified in the use of Acupuncture and the use of Ostepathic techniques, and is also a registered Kenisiotape Practitioner.

 

James works with a variety of clients including the young, the elderly and local sports clubs (football, badminton & running clubs), as well as Professional Athletes and Elite youngsters at Ipswich Town Football Club.

 

He is a health professional accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council.  James is also registered with the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.

 

James has experience in Outpatients, Neurological Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Intermediate Care, Surgical Respiratory and Medical Respiratory.

 

James enjoys spending time with his young family, keeping fit and competing in Triathlon.

Rushmere Physiotherapy Clinic

The RPC is located in a purpose-built therapy suit situated on the outskirts of Ipswich, down the road from Ipswich Hospital, at 154 Colchester Road.  (Previously 249 Humber Doucy Lane). Providing Physiotherapy Treatment for Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

 

All Physiotherapists at RPC are Chartered and registered with the Health Professions Council

 

The clinic is easily accessible down the drive of the house. There is plenty of off-road parking, please park to allow enough space for others.

Mark qualified in 2005 from the University of London with an Physiotherapy honours degree.  Mark currently works in private clinics in Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and at the Rushmere Physiotherapy Clinic.  

 

With a wealth of experience Mark enjoys treating all conditions.  

 

Mark is a qualified acupuncturist and has a special interest in manual therapy.  Away from work Mark enjoys running and strength training.

Mark Alderton BSc(Hons)

Kimberley qualified from the University of Essex in 2013 with a BSc in Physiotherapy.

She has experience in many NHS areas including cardiac, respiratory, oncology and haematology, care of the elderly, stroke, trauma and orthopaedics, women’s health, musculoskeletal outpatients and cardiac rehabilitation.

 

In addition to this Kimberley provides physiotherapy to the ITFC academy team, and has completed the FA Intermediate First Aid for Sport Course.

 

Additional qualifications include a Diploma in Sports massage, and Acupuncture.

 

Kimberley Maddalena BSc(Hons)

Andrew Bannan qualified as a physiotherapist in 2000 and has gained a wealth of clinical experience most notably at multi sports events such as the Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth and European Olympic Games.

 

Andrew combines his clinical work with a lecturing role at The University of Essex. He has extensive experience working with rugby at Bury St Edmunds RUFC, Academy football at Ipswich Town FC and with runners, cyclists and triathletes as well as professional dancers and performers.

 

Andrew keeps fit mainly by running but also enjoys cycling and has completed several triathlons up to Olympic distance.
